Happy Pig Co. Organic Short Cut Bacon, Loin Ham and Leg Ham Portions are made from organic pigs which have been specially raised using only organic feed. These products are produced using celery based brine, which is completely free of antibiotics and phosphates. These products are all gluten free and the first commercially released organic bacon and ham certified by NASAA.
The flavour and taste profiles are quite different to normal salt based brine ham & bacon products, due to the organic and natural components of the product. The “Happy Pig Co.”, launched December 2013, is part of the Bertocchi Group of Companies. The brand encompasses an unique range of organic smallgoods, certified by NASAA, for the Australian domestic market.
